Call for Poems
BTW: The winner of The Poetry Lottery #3 was Dan Garcia-Black! Here is his poem...
Wrong Number
Gasoline burns hotter than hell
And using it causes climate change
There are plenty of signs that
Earth is preparing humanity for an
Extinction level event
In the bible there's a revelation
That warns about the apocalypse
I look at today's gas prices
$6.06 per gallon
It's getting close to $6.66
Then it will be too late to prep
The anti-Christ will push the pedal
To the metal with the ghost of Lemmy
Riding shotgun
And all Hell will break loose like
An obese woman's spandex
After midnight on a shopping trip
For a large pair of crotchless panties
At the local Wal-Mart Superstore.
Amen.

The Ring Held for Me to Jump Through Is Flaming
I carry the trouble I understand.
I’m smoking in this morning’s bird song.
I’m smoking in this morning’s bird song--
an exhausted Kama Sutra purveyor.
I’m an exhausted Kama Sutra purveyor.
Classification is everywhere.
Classification seeks order everywhere.
Inclinations aren’t easy to wrangle.
Inclinations are tempting not to wrangle.
I was naïve about connectivity.
So naïve about connectivity.
We lacked a conversational touch.
We lacked a conversational touch.

New Chapbook!
The latest publication from Four Feathers Press is a recipe for attempting to survive in this universe: be yourself. Why? Because we come from language, we are professors who can only warn each other of the assassination of life. "The human race will eventually become extinct / Because some of us never learned / To play nice." In such a "hamster wheel galaxy", 2020 is proof we need to volunteer to answer our own questions. So, duck! "Our history lessons are written in blood / On parchments of human flesh." Lessons..."Today I met a man who only spoke in stone." Strangeweather is a poet's poet who allows "you can peek at the kaleidoscope clockwork of the universe within me." -- Don Kingfisher Campbell, editor of Four Feathers Press
